This little one quickly showed up on my doorstep. It was carefully packaged for roadside protection and arrived intact. His purchase naturally followed the Christmas arrival of his cousin, the mini barn owl, which has become a family favourite. The owl is always in the spotlight; This is unfortunate only because our six month old boxer/lab has shown a desire to bond with an owl, primarily through his teeth. The owl survived the first attack fine (no injury, which speaks volumes for the owl's design and/or my reflexes). Now he lives high on the DVD player shelf, unless the pup is somewhere else. The owl is a real eye-catcher and looks amazingly real.
