Read speed up to 500 MB/s. External SSD and use with my iPad Pro for file storage/easy transfer of files (mostly images/photos) from iPad to PC. The first thing that's a bit annoying is that it overheats very quickly and stops working/giving an error message and takes a very long time to start working again. It is advertised as faster than faster advanced data transfer. In my experience it is "so fast that" doesn't have enough time to register files properly: 1. "Faster than faster": I have to repeat the file transfer twice and hope it saves, sometimes even works it doesn't and some files don't upload/transfer properly.2. "Advanced" : Sometimes files are transferred but cropped: 2-3 images are cropped and combined into one (mostly corrupted and unusable)3. Even though it looks like the files are transferred to the Netac 500GB Portable SSD without any problems, I still can't open some of them on the PC. Finally, all my file folders together with the service folders weigh 106 GB, in the properties of the Z Slim drive it shows "108 GB free 465 GB", which makes the capacity of the portable SSD Netac 500 GB (106 GB + 108 GB) 214 UK power! I think that's unacceptable. Conclusion: the product is unreliable, it is inconvenient to use, there are a lot of minuses, the description is misleading (if you do not use stronger words). I would not recommend buying
