It's no better than the 120D, but it's very good value for money.
Light quality not as good as 120D. However, this is very good. And in some respects it is better: for example, a simple design, no power supply and a digital display on the remote control. I haven't noticed any flickering or bending yet. I think this lamp is a good choice. I plan to use it with 120d and 300d. They work very well with Aputure Cosmic Light. There is fan noise, so plan your recordings accordingly. If you're using a good lab or overhead mic, you'll be fine. By the way, the 300D is much louder and costs around $1,000. So again not a killer 120d but a very nice addition to any lighting set.
