They keep any hairstyle for a long time, no doubt they are amazing. They get really tight so my little one sometimes complains if I change his diaper too many times. It doesn't bother me or my 11 year old, we value their safety, we know our hair stays right where we pin it. My 5 year old does gymnastics and his hair stays the way I secure it with these hair ties. I was annoyed that I had to drag her out of class to collect her hair, that was the solution! Highly recommended! We have these types of hair - fine hair but very thick and thick thick hair.
