One selfie stick to rule them all.

This is my introduction to selfie sticks. I resisted buying it as I felt there was some stigma attached to owning and using a selfie stick, but my husband and I travel a lot together and I would like to be able to take photos of us together without having to carry and set up a giant tripod, ask a stranger (often in a language they don't speak) to take one for us, or settle for awful selfies at arm's length. I have to say after trying it I believe! This thing does everything! Here's what I love about it: QUALITY - This is a VERY high quality, durable and well made selfie stick and tripod! Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy, which is very important to me. DESIGN/VERSATILITY - The guys who created this design thought of almost everything! I love that everything is so simple and easy to put together (no instructions needed) and so compact and easy to carry around in a backpack or large purse! You can use a tripod only, a tripod on a fully or partially extended stick, a stick alone, a stick underwater, a stick with or without a remote control, a stick and/or a tripod with a GoPro or a smartphone, a tripod AS a stick and so on! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this set can be used in so many ways! VERY well thought out! SIMPLE - This setup couldn't be easier to use. The instructions page is clean, clear, and makes sense, but this thing is so intuitive you don't really need it, and I LOVE that because I hate reading instructions! EFFICIENCY. works very, very well! You don't need to download any external apps or anything like that. It literally works out of the box and it's amazing! There are just a few things that I don't like or that I think could be improved about this device: First, it's geared towards users with Android devices. If you have an iPhone like mine (iPhone 8), you're out of luck with the wireless zoom. BOOO! Android users only can use the plus and minus buttons on the remote control to zoom in and out. These buttons on the iPhone simply act as additional triggers. It's a shame, but it definitely doesn't bother me. Second, the box it came in shows a series of photos of people taken with selfie sticks, but it's clear that the selfie sticks used in the photos are NOT what you see in the box . I understand they are just trying to show you what great shots are possible with their product (and I sincerely believe they are), but I also have a problem with these ads. If this isn't your product, then don't use it on the packaging. However, this thing really sucks and I'm very glad I have it for the trip now! I tried it out with my all in one pro in a waterproof camera bag in Hawaii during our shark school dive and was able to capture some amazing photos and videos! I think the thing is definitely worth the money and then adventurers like me. Hope that helps!
