UPDATE: While still warm, soft and stylish for winter, after 1 wash it was tangled in many places and I used it according to the packaging instructions washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, then in a low temperature dryer. I used a wide tooth comb to brush it out and next time I'll try to wash it fur inside. which always slipped into the lid with me. I was concerned because this set was a bit more expensive than the others, but it was a real quilt. The outside is made of shaggy fibers and the inside is a microfiber/suede material that is so soft and warm. The fibers haven't fallen off yet. I also bought a turquoise ombre color and it is very light in person. I would guess gray or blush would be the same. BUY IT!
