Review on Soft Semi-Opaque Footed Pantyhose For Women - Frola Seamless 80 Denier Solid Color Tights by Jonathan Robertson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Finally! Seamless tights in white/cream!

*update* I reduced the rating to two stars, because I bought some more of these tights, but in grey. Really pretty grey, and they felt nice. However, both pairs immediately ran, as I was putting them on, and in the same spot, where the waistband is sewn onto the top of the tights. Made me think there was some kind of defect in how it was sewn on, as it happened in the same spot on both pairs. I’ve returned them, and ebay is sending replacements, but this has me really nervous about the quality/durability of these tights. Which is really too bad, because they seem like they should be really nice tights for the money. After discovering several years ago. how much more comfortable seamless tights/pantyhose are, compared to tights with a gusset and/or that seam that goes through the panty area, I've pretty much switched entirely over to wearing seamless tights. They're generally a bit harder to find, but the comfort is worth it - wearing tights went from being an uncomfortable accessory for making an outfit look more stylish to something comfortable and fun that I actually look forward to wearing. The big issue is that they can especially be hard to find colors that aren't black or shades of nude (depending on the denier). I get Calzedonia's excellent Invisible (their term for seamless) tights in brown and grey. But it's been impossible for me to find white/cream opaque seamless tights (I know white/cream tights are controversial and a lot of people hate them, but I love them); even other friends who love seamless tights had found it impossible to find seamless opaque tights in white/cream.So imagine my surprise when I discovered that Frola was selling seamless opaque tights in white AND cream (I prefer cream, but I'll take either)! I was familiar with Frola and curious about their tights, but had never ordered any of their tights before. I figured for the $10 for two pair, it was worth trying out.To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much. However, I am extremely impressed. They came in nice packaging for inexpensive tights. They feel a little rough out of the box, but once they're on, they don't feel rough at all. They're not super soft or luxurious feeling, but, for the price, they feel really nice. They did feel a little small while I was putting them on, but they had plenty of give/stretch, and, once on, they were super comfortable and fit really nicely. They didn't run or snag when I was putting them on, but I was careful to check for hangnails, rough/dry skin, or other things that will destroy even the nicest tights. I have no idea how durable they'll be (I'll update this review when I have a better idea). All in all, Frola has knocked it out of the park with these tights. They're not only nice looking, fitting, and feeling seamless opaque tights in white AND cream, but they're also really nicely priced. I'd definitely order these again, and I've already recommended them to friends who were also looking for seamless tights in cream or white.
