I chose this one from other similar items because of the inner plastic insert for the pen clip. The leading edge of these and probably all leather pocket protectors is too thick and will stretch the clip over time. Upon purchase, however, I found that the inner plastic only dips half an inch. On some of my pens, the clip gets caught on the bottom edge of the plastic and the pen won't come out. Of course, I can still pull the handle out by slightly tightening the clamp, but that requires two hands. Why it was designed that way is a mystery to me.
