You can get a "Spectra" or other imitation for a lot less than a Delco AC and it will "work", but there's no better way to build it than the Delco AC replacement I have got it and it fits OE perfectly on my 2001 Chevy Suburban, right down to all the tape you need to make it fit/work perfectly with the original HVAC unit. HVAC block therefore, don't be a fool and save on the most important spare part you're putting in there. I've managed to put the entire AC and dashboard back together, my AC is working like new again and I know it will continue to work, at least as long as this machine is running. Very satisfied!
