I expected it to be heavier and I expected the material to feel oilier and more expensive. Although this coat is neither, it is still very cute. That's a good length. I would say this is the perfect transitional coat from summer to fall (if you remove the detachable faux fur). This is a mid-weight jacket that will keep you warm in the 60's and 50's. It's too thin for a full winter coat. I'm in Southern California so this will probably work for my winter. As I said above, faux fur peels off easily. The color is great! Fully functional pockets, light lining, easy to carry. I don't understand why the company keeps calling it a biker jacket. I don't consider it a motorcycle jacket. It can easily be dressed up or down for most occasions. Solid 4 star jacket.
