On my second cable. Returned the first one after about 3 weeks when it seemed to "run short" for no reason. The second cable was just beginning to do the same (and of course the return window passed). I'm relying on my GPS app while driving and all of a sudden my phone goes off. There is no reason. Sometimes it comes back, sometimes not. It is very dangerous if I rely on instructions. Too bad because this cable is perfect for playing in an Apple car. I like the way it looks and the fact that it can be easily stored away when not in use. But it's worse than useless when it just doesn't work anymore. I thought I was just unlucky with the first one, but now with two doing the same thing I think it's a design flaw.
