Review on 📷 Universal Mini Stinger Handle Grip with 3/8” ARRI Locating Pins & Cold Shoe Adapter for Camera Cage - PA28M-BK by Steve Cooper

I bought this Stinger Top Handle along with the Nitze Cage for A7SIII and I am very happy with it! I have a version with a NATO rail that allows me to remove the handle very quickly when I want to attach the camera to the gimbal. I've always shot with the main gimbal and a good frame setup has allowed me to get great handheld shots. This top grip makes it easy to capture low-angle shots. The grip is very comfortable, even for my large hand. I was afraid it wouldn't be comfortable, but it is EXTREMELY comfortable. Nitze seems to make a bigger top grip if that's your main concern. Another great benefit of the grip is the HUGE number of 1/4" and 3/8" mounting holes, as well as Arri style mounting pin holes. I was able to find a great spot to mount my Ninja V monitor that kept the setup balanced in the middle. The top handle also comes with a cold shoe adapter which was an amazing surprise! The quick release lever is easy to release, but there are two push pins on the edge of the NATO rail to prevent accidental pressing of the quick release and the camera from falling. These pins hold the handle until you press one down and move the handle in the same action. Top Grip Pros - NATO rail configuration provides super quick release and is secure - Grip is much more secure than standard round/square cage grips - SO MANY 1/4" and 3/8" mounting points as well as locating pins - Cold shoe adapter - excellent feel - Works great in every direction This is purely cosmetic and does not affect functionality. It was like 2 holes in a billion located on the handle. So if you are looking for an ergonomic, comfortable top handle that can be removed very quickly, then I recommend this Mini Stinger Top. Nitze handle. This is MUCH more comfortable than the traditional square/round grips that SmallRig makes and will make a great addition to any rig. This top handle works with every cage on the market so get it, you won't regret it!
