Review on 🐱 Sleepypod Mini: Perfect Comfort and Security for Pets Under 7 lbs by Nina Noble

Size too big or too small

I first bought a medium size for my 6 lb dog. I was so disappointed when I got the huge bed. Functionally, it's just not very portable and very heavy. I could never imagine carrying that huge bed. My dog fit in comfortably but there was so much extra room but more importantly it didn't fit in my small bucket seat in my Fiat. I returned it. Then I ordered the mini size. It was advertised for dogs weighing 7 pounds or less and the size increase was too much, it made sense. I was so shocked to receive a tiny bed that was too small for my 6 lb chihuahua. She could not sit up naturally because she was too small. She only fits if I roll up her body and roll her into a donut. She couldn't change her position or sit up. Seller will not cover return postage if this bed is incorrectly advertised for dogs under 7 pounds. The zipper is so small that even the hands cannot be opened wide enough. This bed is big enough for a very small pup weighing no more than 4 pounds. my dog is extremely calm and sat very uncomfortable with the saddest snout. I could tell that she was very uncomfortable and I would never torment her in a room that was too small to safely hold her height for an extended period of time. It's human! Sleepy Pod has to come up with an in-between size. The mini and medium sizes didn't fit my 6 lb chihuahua. A small size would be ideal. I didn't think the price was justified.
