Review on πŸ‘“ Foster Grant Men's Council 3 Pack: Sleek Rectangular Reading Glasses for Ultimate Versatility by Jim Bodnarchek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

YES - These are the Foster Grants - "Budget " version only.

First, some reviews claim these are not Foster Grants. IDK how can they say it because the ones I go with are definite. (packaging, frames, etc.). It's just that it's a cheaper version and that doesn't mean the quality is low. Dollar General sold these DG (Jaycee) brand nursing grants last year and I thought they were the absolute best. Cool Glasses! Unfortunately DG has some cheap brands now and sucks, but I digress. These glasses are exactly the same but with a narrower bridge. They are lightweight and have very good optics that are surprisingly reliable. The steel frame is strong and flexible, infinitely adjustable for comfort. A plain frame is lighter, more durable, and can be more comfortable than spring hinges. Service friendliness and longevity are important to me. I tend to treat glasses harshly and buy a certain brand/model for parts when they break/drop. The most important factor is how the screws are attached (best), how well the screwdriver engages them, and whether they are adjustable. They pass this test with flying colors. To give you an idea of how durable they are, I accidentally ran over a few in our driveway. I adjusted the frames and got back to work despite the badly scratched lens.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
