Contrary to many reviews these suction cups work great. Mine lasted safely for 4 weeks, I had it with no problems. I followed the directions and thoroughly cleaned the stainless steel sink before putting the cups on and attached the trivet to the cups before attaching it to the sink. I drip water on the cup, voila. Perfect. I can't comment on how it works on enamel, marble or corian, but I think any non-porous smooth surface will work just as well. I particularly like the spacing between the posts which allows airflow to dry the sponge and reduces/prevents musty odor. . It also won't break like my old plastic. It appears to be solid metal with no plating or paint so I don't expect it to chip. I'm sure this will be a forever purchase and I don't expect to ever have to replace it again! I recommend it 100% and I will look at other products from this company to organize my soul!
