Review on 🦷 Denttabs Tablets for Teeth Cleaning - 125 Count by Tony Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Convenient alternative to fluoridated toothpaste

I travel a lot for work. About 1 week out of 3 I will be flying which limits the amount of toothpaste I can take with me. Travel size toothpaste is a pain. They're overpriced compared to their regular-size counterparts, they add non-recyclable material to landfill, and they never taste good in travel sizes. I've been interested in toothpaste tablets for a long time, but I'm very prone to tooth decay. My saliva is too acidic and I also like sweets. Xylitol can definitely help prevent tooth decay, but it's not enough for me, so I felt like I needed something with fluoride, especially after discussing it with my dentist. While Europe and Asia seem blessed with a plethora of fluoride powder and toothpaste tablet options, finding them in the United States is surprisingly difficult. They're available online, but the companies don't ship to America, or the shipping cost is over $20, which is a little more than I'm willing to spend to make my travel meals a little happier. These shipments are from Europe (mine came from the UK but that depends on the seller) so it takes a while. My package arrived tampered with, but I suspect this is solely related to the way the package was handled during transit. However, this was frustrating as several (maybe 15) pills were crushed and some fell into my mailbox. I only mention this because the packaging of the cornstarch based product is REALLY harsh! It was still torn, but a lot less than the postal paper, and I had a hard time tearing it off the perforated line. It's also compostable, which is a great benefit for those who care about the environment. Also, with all the (apparently incredible) rough handling, ONLY 15 tablets out of 125 were damaged. Packaging in German, as in the photo. If that scares you, it was easy to find instructions online. There are also pictures on the packaging which are pretty easy to understand. Basically, take a pill, chew it, and start brushing your teeth. They don't lather like regular store brands, but I honestly didn't miss the lather. I have included a photo of the cleaning process so you can see there is no foam. The taste is the usual mint flavor. It is excellent. They taste like toothpaste. As with most fluoridated toothpastes, they shouldn't be rinsed off with water after brushing, and I thought there was an easier way than toothpastes. They are difficult to rate on a 5 point scale as almost nothing compares. However, they currently fill a gap in the market and work as described.
