**It's a good thing I define the product at the start of my reviews. Somehow, my review of Portzon'sheadbands has ended up under their waist trainer listing. I have to assume it's some sort of glitch inthe system, but I hesitate to delete it, for fear it may also remove the review from the proper listing**This review is for the Portzon Sport Headband for Men & Women 3-pack.I'll admit I'm very inexperienced in the world of headbands. Even being a Florida native, I've never made it a point to explore that world. If you've got a reason to sweat profusely, you just do it, suck it up, use a sleeve, have a towel available, etc. Subconsciously, I've probably just always thought of them as being for tennis pros. :-)My stereotypical idea of a sweatband/headband is bright colors and terry cloth. The Portzon product colors are pretty subdued, and certainly more low profile than terry cloth. I was initially surprised at their relative thinness, and also that they are made with two concentric circles of silicone, lining the inner surface, presumably to keep them from slipping. They're difficult to see in the listing photos, but I have included a pic of the interior of the black headband, where they're easily seen. For me, that feature worked, as they didn't budged once. That may also have something to do with the fact I have a fairly large skull, although they never felt overly tight.Mowing a Florida lawn in the dead of summer should be a sufficient test of any headband, and these did pretty well. They kept the sweat out of my eyes and face for as long as they could, but finally succumbed at the 90 minute mark which, in this case, was the halfway point of the entire project. Having 3, it'd be easy enough to swap out. I've also considered wearing two at once, whether it be concentric or stacked. As the manufacturer has noted, you'll be best served in terms of longevity of the product by simply rinsing them out (I chose to add in a bit of hand soap), wring out well, and let hang to dry. Harsh detergents and dryers would probably take their toll on the fabric, and certainly the silicone portion.Strap one on, put the other two in your pockets, and you should be good for the better part of a day of sweating.
