Review on 🦷 Ginger's Toothpaste Tablets - 1.27oz Jar by Lisa Chavez

If you REALLY want to help the environment

As a novelty, this is pretty cool. Many people make "toothpaste" tablets. I think the appeal is in packing less to help the environment. And more natural ingredients. Dentists still recommend fluoridated toothpaste. I would hesitate to use non-fluoride toothpaste on a regular basis. But let's assume that for this review you made that choice. They smell good and taste good. I miss the mint in my regular toothpaste. But some people find it overwhelming. They contain xylitol. So keep them away from your dog. The packaging is beautiful. But I don't see a way to buy refills either on Revain or on the manufacturer's website. If I have to buy that can every month, not only are they very expensive, but I also end up with more waste than a tube of toothpaste that would last me a few months. 60 tablets may seem like a lot. But if it is recommended to brush your teeth twice a day, then this is only enough for a month. It takes some time to get used to putting something in your mouth, chewing, not swallowing. But after a few days, I was no longer tempted to eat the table. It produces enough lather (surprisingly) and my teeth look pretty clean after using it. Maybe I'm a bad person. But I see no point in switching to that because I find them expensive (especially when I can't find fillings) and I feel regular toothpaste protects my teeth better (fluoride).

Pros
  • The calculated amount of ingredients in each tablet guarantees the perfect brush every time!
Cons
  • There are new competitors
