Somehow I ended up reading the blog of people who are after "old-fashioned sheets, like their grandmothers. I just bought a new queen bed, was on the lookout for new sheets and found I'm interested in those sheets too. I can't buy mine Speak grandma but I grew up wearing muslin sheets in the 50's and although I thought we had a dryer I know my mother used to dry linens on a clothesline I remember the weight and crunch of the sheets and their wonderful ones Smell.I can't find any muslin sheets online but this blog I was reading mentions these sheets.I'm a bit snobbish and I usually buy organic bedding whenever I can nn, and I also had a #1 rated LL Bean Percale Duvet Set (very expensive). were very easy. The other "vintage" sheets I looked at were also expensive, so I gave these sheets a try. I had originally ordered a set in white but upon double checking my order I found they would not be delivered until January 18th! So I canceled that order and ordered it in a beautiful gold color that goes perfectly with my gold and floral duvet cover. They are heavier than my LLBean percale sheets and I love them and they feel crispy and invite you to climb into them. I live in the south and it's still very hot here in September, so I bought a foldable wardrobe and dried the sheets in the sun. I like the smell and I like to use less hair dryer. I don't think they wrinkle much but I'm sure there are others who will complain. I think these are the best hands I have. I try never to buy things that are made and sourced in China, they are not organic, not high quality cotton and probably full of chemicals BUT I would buy them again. I find her wonderful. I really want them to come in templates.
