I have ordered several USB "C" cables from 4 manufacturers. Not everyone has 100% "fast charging", data transfer and connection from Android Auto to the car. I ordered 3ft of purple braided cords from Benicabe and they fit all 3 pieces so I ordered 2 more in black braided braid. They also worked great in Android Auto, Fast Charge and PC data transfer. I had another brand that was supposed to be "Samsung OEM" that worked for a week then couldn't fast charge or work with Android Auto and also got an error on my S9+. So far the 1st set of Benicabe cables works in 3 weeks! I understand that there is a chip in the plug. So if the chip fails, the cables will not work properly.
