Can't even call it a beard oil (read before buying)

Honestly I had high hopes for this "beard oil" but unfortunately it let me down! First and foremost the smell and smell is amazing which is one of the main reasons I bought this 'Oil'. Not to say it's a drop but I usually use Artius Man beard oil but the main reason I wanted to try it was the scents. Most other beard oil brands tend to have similar lines when it comes to scents, but I was looking for something that smelled like cologne or perfume. On the plus side, I bought Ivory Bergamot and I have to say it smelled great! The scent will last for quite a while, somewhere between 2-3 hours I would say. The presentation is amazing too, from the box holder to the pump glass bottle everything looked high quality! So the first impression was great! Now the cons that make me not want to buy it again. Now after being blown away by the presentation and the smell, boom, I saw the ingredients and was completely disappointed. Now the description says there are no artificial ingredients but they use silicones which are used in cosmetics and other beauty products. The ingredients are: Cyclopentasiloxane (a silicone used in cosmetics that is unnaturally slippery) Dimethiconol (another silicone used in hair products that imparts "shine and softness") Caprylylmethicone (another silicone used in cosmetics) Organic Argon Core Spinosa (also known as argan oil). , not sure how much is actually used and it is the only oil listed in the ingredients of this BEARD OIL) and the last ingredient is fragrance (scent). Some of you might say it's ok, they use them in beauty products all the time. Yes, that's cool, but here's the thing, these silicones don't typically dissolve in water, which means you'll have to use sulfate-based beard cleansers. And they're usually pretty harsh on the skin. The first pump I picked up felt so wrong. I squeezed it in my hand and immediately felt uncomfortable, the consistency felt unnaturally slippery, it slipped down my beard, but overall it felt bad because even when I dried my hands with a towel, my hands were motionless . slippery. As I said, the smell was good and lasted a long time, but the "beard oil" made my beard feel dry after the first hour! Yes, my beard was shiny, but that was only due to the silicones used in the "beard oil". Will spend 3 days today using this product which I can't even call beard oil because it's not at all. And unfortunately, my skin started to get really dry and I got pimples under my beard for the first time in a long time! My beard has a shine, but it's not a natural or healthy shine at all. I really wanted to like this product but the results were terrible. Overall I cannot recommend this product at all. I only give 2 stars for the look and feel.
