I mainly use them for night driving and to block any blue light in my house in the evening. (TV, LED lights, etc.). They snap into place very easily and have a nice cover when not in use. They are not obtrusive at all, in fact I used them for two days before my wife noticed them. I also know they work because my prescription glasses don't get replaced with sunglasses when I'm in the sun when it's up. I specifically checked. Excellent purchase!
