When you first set it up and turn it on, this heather gives off a burning smell. This made me nervous and I almost got it back. I called the company and they said the smell would go away over time. When adjusting the height, also use the handle to tighten the bar at the desired location. Well my pen cracked and now my infrared port just sticks up. Really, I should have just paid $400-$500 more for a better machine. And only gave three stars because it's good. He's doing his job. However, all these problems appear within a month of purchasing this dryer. And I need a new shorty. Hairdresser to hairdresser. Don't waste money.
