Decent basic protection
I've had a Yamaha V Star for 16 years now. My old cover looks pretty shabby and I could use a new one, so I decided to give this cover a try. I have 2XL because my bike is 96 inches long. 2XL should fit. Well, it fits, but hardly. The saddlebags and full windshield make the fit too tight for my liking. But it covers everything. The haircut is good. The front locking holes are lightweight and made of plastic. I didn't expect the glossy finish to last too long. The rubber strap on the bottom of the case is pretty thin. There is no trim for the windshield area. If you're looking for a simple, lightweight finish, this is fine until you find the best.
