Pros: These were just what I needed, sheets that could handle my SO's ginsu toenails. The last (expensive) sheets that were easily ripped off my twitching legs as I slept. They have to hold because they're like a canvas. Because they're made from a cotton-polyester blend, they wash and wear well over time. Cons: They're heavy, but worst of all, they're incredibly loud. If you're a light sleeper you won't like them, they rustle so loudly that they wake you up with every movement. However, if you only use the lower reeds, the sound is not as pronounced. Recommended: Buy them if the price is right and plan to only use the bottom leaves. Leave the top sheets for napkins. They've softened a bit after a few washes, just know they'll never be the silky soft sheets meant for a princess.
