Easily removable. I bought this for Versa 3 and didn't find it safe at all. I bought this to replace the stock strap on my Fitbit and found that once attached it required minimal force or pull for the strap to just pop out. Enough for any smack or smack to completely turn off your Fitbeat. I tried it on over the strap that came with the Versa 3 and the difference is amazing. The regular strap fits snugly into the clasp and I couldn't get it off, unlike this one which just kept popping out. I do not recommend buying this group.
