The backpack has many pockets, one of which houses the straps, which is very handy when you don't need them, they can be detached and stowed in the back pocket. This compartment unfortunately doesn't close around the straps when open, but can be a good place to store a jacket or something you might need easily that is less likely to get lost if the compartment is slightly open. Unzip fully to allow it to be laid flat as directed, ideal for airport transit. I can easily store multiple chargers, 2 laptops, clothes and other items. I also like the mesh pocket, which is great for separating clothes, for example. In addition, on the back, closer to the lumbar area, there is a small compartment that is great for storing valuables, keeping them close but convenient. The right belt hangs slightly unevenly and only stays in place when attached to the left belt. It's a bit of a shame, but it lightens the load on your shoulders. A great affordable backpack perfect for everyday use.
