I ordered this backpack for my 2.5 year old after he stopped searching for "backpacks for toddlers". It's a lot more than I expected, definitely something I could have seen instead of my almost 5 year old. However, my 2.5 year old son has been pacing up and down the window all day very excited about his "airplane backpack" so I know there's no going back! The material feels very comfortable and I am happy about the chest clip. Plenty of room to grow as long as the pack lasts.
