I bought it as an alternative to combing wet hair. I have a wider plastic comb but the teeth are too wide so I wanted something closer together. Since the problem is with plastic, I decided to use a wooden comb. My hair is very thick but thin and very messy! I have to apply detangler after washing to detangle it. I tried it yesterday and was very disappointed with the effectiveness on wet hair. It feels smooth but tangles in my hair, pulls hard, and seems to pull out more hair than my regular brush or wide plastic comb. I've combed the same strand several times and it looks like the tangles have been removed and other tangles have emerged. It took me 5 minutes to comb through the front and ended up going back to the brush because it didn't work. It hurt, it pulled, my hair caught on my teeth. I lose after about an hour which is not normal. This article really annoys me. It's thick and strong and worked well on dry hair during the day hence I gave it a 3 star rating but I can't use it on damp or damp hair so I bought it.
