The envelopes are sturdy.

The envelopes hold everything I need to put in them. I use them mainly to hold important documents--some for tax receipts, Medical paperwork I need to keep, and whaterever else I need to organize and keep throughout the year. I have also used them for mailings now and then. I believe they hold up well. I was disappointed I could only purchase 1 packet at a time. I'm not a business, but I do use them a lot.
