I bought these to clear up the space behind the motherboard. I've been a proponent of using cable ties in my designs. Unfortunately, many of the hulls I build lack proper mounting points. So I glue them right where I want them and use them to secure my bundled cables right where I need them so the tufts follow the neatest path. I think 100 pack for $7 is a great price; they cost about four times as much at my local computer and electronics store. The glue is the right strength. It's strong enough to hold my ribbons in place and weak enough that I won't peel the paint off if I need to redirect it for some reason. that the head is between your cables and the mounting surface. Then tighten until it stops and cut off the excess with side cutters. Optimum accuracy achieved!
