Review on UAG Folio IPad Pro 11-Inch (1St Gen by Marklen Baeskens

This is my third iPad case from UAG. First was on my previous iPad Pro 9.7 and I loved it, great protection, nice finish, easy to use, apple pencil holder. When I switched to the iPad Pro 11 a little over two years ago, I didn't hesitate to buy another UAG that looked almost the same but had a better pen holder. However, less than a year later, the lid connection between the case and the lid broke and the lid regularly fell off. I emailed UAG support twice with no response - based on that experience I docked this model with 1 star. I looked around and didn't find anything I liked, so I bought another UAG for my Pro 11. This one is a little different, the pen holder is now a magnetic iPad charger, the wide strap keeps it secure. when traveling (although I'm not sure if there's a downside to keeping the pen charged all the time). The attachment of the lid to the case is also different and hopefully more reliable, seems better but we'll see how it holds up over time. However, the case offers good protection, feels good in the hand and is kept in pure black. I don't know what to say about UAG support becoming unresponsive, but I hope I don't need it again. I still recommend this UAG case as it does its job well.
