I have both the first and second versions. This new Everyday Bagg design eliminates the shortcomings of both. It's a bit bigger but stylish. They brought back the front zip by replacing the flap which looked nice but wasn't as comfortable. The back pocket is now divided into two, useful for keys, glasses, etc., and now has slots for RFID credit cards. Some of the zips are reinforced, making the bag very durable. The pen/lipstick holder is gone, but I always felt like it got in the way of the inner zip anyway. LOVE this bag and will most likely get more in different colors.
