I just bought this camera for my wife. This is a beautiful camera. The controls are great and very easy to use. It even has a great feature that combines 3 photos to create panoramic shots, but the camera takes grainy shots. I think I have a cheap lens or cell. This is particularly bad in low-light scenes like at night or indoors. I am really disappointed. My 1.5 megapixel camera that I bought 7 years ago takes 1020 x 960 resolution pictures much better than this camera with 3000 x 2000+ resolution. This camera may have been designed as an entry level device for kids. However, I would expect to pay more in the $60.00 to $70.00 range. I thought the 8.2MP camera would be an improvement over my slow 1.5MP serial port camera, but I was wrong. I will return this one. I bought one in paperclips for 149.00 with a free 1mb memory card. Too much money for grainy photos.
