Although I was fully aware that I was buying a fake Dyson, I read several reviews before purchasing which said this hair dryer was lightweight, compact and be very powerful. I was excited to get it and couldn't wait to use it. Alas, everything was not for. Now I have short (shoulder length) thick hair so I need to blow dry it a bit. This hair dryer is half the power of my previous Revlon hair dryer. I literally dry my hair 1.5 times longer with it. Everything else in the previous reviews was correct. It's light and compact, but certainly not powerful. This will end up being the dryer that I use exclusively for travel.
