Does the product come with instructions? YES SIR; However, they are enclosed within the assembled product under an opaque protective coating on top of a transparent screen protector, so you cannot find or see let alone read the instructions. I think the instructions should be placed on the OUTSIDE of the product to avoid damaging the silicone component when trying to open the case. I removed the protective film from the transparent screen protector. After putting my device in the case, I noticed an oily film on the outside of the screen protector that I still couldn't remove. I've tried using window cleaner, rubbing alcohol, anesthetic remover, lemon juice, vinegar, and repeated washing with soap and water, but I still have an oily film all over the screen protector. It looks like I'm going to eat a greasy hamburger and then put my greasy fingers on the touchscreen, but it covers the entire screen. You can move the lint-free cloth, you can move the foil layer with your fingernail, but you cannot remove it. Kind of reminds me of that hideous film of smoke that builds up on the inside of car windows when people smoke in their cars, but I digress. If you're using your device in a moderately lit room, you won't notice the movie unless the light source bounces off the screen, in which case the screen looks downright dirty and gross. I love the wrist strap on the back of the case, it's a great feature. The fold-out kickstand under the wrist strap always seems to fold on its own, allowing the tablet to fall off. Haven't used the strap in the kit, haven't found a need for it yet. The overall quality of the product is very good, except for the nasty film of oil on the screen protector.
