If you are busy and have to do a lot of mouse work, this leads to quite heavy paper while using the mouse, which actually glides more freely. There are no software tricks or modifications in the Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Center app to solve the hardware development problem that Microsoft offers to the general public. Microsoft is selling an inferior offering that has quickly turned into an odd product. UPDATE March 19, 2019: I connected the USB cable to the mouse today and because the connector was locked in the case, the case broke. It's the ubiquitous sloppy technical piece.
