Review on KEF LSX Wireless Music System (White by Eunu AT ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Considering their usefulness, I would say you can buy them for 60tr. Even so, the player, amplifier, and speakers all come together in this one convenient package. It's important to keep in mind that each speaker needs its own power source. Those name-brand racks are stunning, and the stage is constructed extremely stylishly.

Pros
  • How such a large sound can be created in such a compact package is beyond me. The craftsmanship is superb, and they complement my home's decor beautifully; even my wife approves. Even a young child will notice the superior sound quality of Bluetooth while using the built-in Spotify and Tidal. Because the music is being played by the device itself, you may use your phone without worrying about the music being interrupted by calls or notifications.
Cons
  • Worst work app ever. If Spotify's mobile app serves as the primary interface, then Tidal will be forced to rely on its own, in-house kef app. Really annoying. To stream music from Tidal, I need to use an ethernet connection because my WiFi is too slow. If you're using Roon as a Master and listening over a cable, your music will stutter. I was confused as to why I needed a 3.5 mm input. You could, in theory, play records on it, but the speakers are all wirelessly linked together, so there's no analog sound (even if you connect the speakers to each other via ethernet, this will also be a digital stream). After listening to them for three months, I can say that the speakers' lack of bass is noticeable, albeit this is just subjective.
