broke in the first hour

My 8 year old daughter (60 pounds, 5ft 3in) ripped them off in the first hour when she went to the bathroom. I would have liked more material, they were a bit small. buy elsewhere for another brand so forced to spend more and order a second pair as she ripped them during dress rehearsal and not at the actual show. I would like to find an alternative!

Pros

fits my daughter perfectly. She is 9 years old but only 48 inches tall and weighs 41 pounds. Survived both nights of the solo concert without any problems.
