The design of the mirror is great in terms of the memory setting which I think hasn't been mentioned in the reviews yet. The reason for this is that you or your electrician will most likely wire it up by plugging the cord into an outlet on your existing fixture. This happens every time the light turns on and off, your mirror turns on and off. Thanks to the memory function, the mirror remembers the color temperature used. I've had no luck trying lights that had a setting to change color temperature and I won't remember why the light changed color each time. That's no problem with this mirror and I love that you can turn the light on and off with it! Additionally, it's a more succinct system than the competition. Do yourself a favor and hire a good handyman to do the installation and add an electrical outlet to the back of the mirror. Yes, the anchors aren't huge, but they hold the mirror well. Again, as long as you have a good installer you're safe, and it's not a difficult install for a solid professional, which you can get for Task Bunny or any other service.
