I was almost persuaded to buy a gel pad for my 8 month old Original Mattress Factory queen bed but I was concerned about breathability as after 3 hours of sleep I was already waking up hot and sweaty. So I wanted something that was moisture wicking or breathable. I sleep on my side and even with an almost 3 inch pillow I still wake up and have to turn over every 1-2 hours. I took a chance with this as the price was half what I would pay for memory foam or gel pad. PLUS I was worried about the padding shifting or moving under the sheets. I didn't notice any "pillow clouds" the first night, but I didn't wake up hot and sweaty either. The second night I noticed the pillow effect. I think it took time to stretch or loosen up after vacuum packing. My brother, roommate and 2 neighbors bought these and they LOVE this figure hugging pillowcase too!
