Connect and you're done. I love that I don't have to run an eyc app just to use the basic RGB lighting, all lighting options are controlled via 1 button on the bar, hold 3 seconds to turn it off and it saves the ones that do was turned on, which is nice. You can even leave it on when your computer is off if you like that little extra sparkle. Imo good quality and worth it. All pads made from this typical material are easy to care for, but just as comfortable as normal pads. The length seems to fit any keyboard and mouse setup. My pad is slightly larger with hotkeys on top and there is about 3 inches of space left so I can move the keyboard back for wrist room, but I prefer it to be on the front like in my photo. . I can't speak to customer service but they have a small booklet nicely packaged with a number and an invitation to call if there is a problem.
