This laptop tray is ok. It's just okay. This is a durable piece of wood that looks beautiful. The extended mouse area is a nice touch. The wood is well processed and without corners and edges. However, there are slots for storing items, but they're too narrow for anything. Any tablet or phone we have will not work. He's not even holding the Apple TV remote. It's because we have cases on our devices, to be fair, but who doesn't have them these days? My iPhone with Otter Box does not fit. Not my tablet. No woman's phone. Second, the ventilation is rather weak. Basically it's just a smooth piece of board with holes in it. The airflow depends on nature I think. Better than putting him on his knees or on a pillow, no doubt, but not by much. Finally, the mouse pad doesn't quite fit the area it's resting on, and it's frayed around the edges and seems to fall apart with repeated use. For the price I would look for a better laptop table.
