My old one from the same brand was about to expire so I decided to buy a new one. Once applied it was fine (as I've never had a problem with it) and it wasn't long before I started itching around both upper eye lines. I immediately took it off and rubbed my eyes, but then the itching persisted and suddenly it started to sting slightly and swell up in the form of a line of the patch I was putting it on. Nothing I put on my eyes that day was a new product - this glue was the only 'new' thing so the allergic reaction was most likely caused by that. The redness lasted about 20 minutes while I put ice on my eyes, and after that the swelling slowly went down. I may have been sent an old tube of expired formula but based on this experience I will no longer recommend this brand.
