The constricted groove has become detached from the remainder of the construction, and as a result, the void in which the gas block is kept is now far larger than its diameter. Therefore, when you sit on it, it feels very much like you are sitting on a loose stick. Because the seat is always moving in every direction, adjusting the center of gravity is something that is worth doing, even if only little. The maximum weight capacity of the chair is 120 kilos, thus it shouldn't be used by anyone who weighs more than that. My weight is 70, and practice has shown that he cannot keep his position either. The vendor supplied a replacement for the item. The replacement chair was only good for one year until it too succumbed to the same flaw.
