I think this is a good cage and does what the cage is supposed to do. This makes it easier to remove the battery from the Sony ZV-1 when it is attached to a small tripod or extension cord. It also has a ton of 1/4" ports and a nice strap eyelet. The wooden grip is nice and deep, which makes the ZV-1 that much easier to handle. There is one small issue I'd like to fix. If you use the upper If you want to mount the grip, you need to use a hex tool to screw two screws into the 1/4" holes on the top. This makes putting on and taking off the grip tedious. If you have an Arri connection or nato rails on the Once the cage is installed you can easily remove and attach the handle without tools Again this is a minor issue but otherwise a good product Please note I have a number of smallrig accessories and they are all well made and a good price - Offer value for money This cage is no exception.
