It has a black inner lining that can be folded over in the front as a black outline. Looks beautiful. It can be worn with anything and looks good on both men and women. It is comfortable. It fits like a slouch hat but is too big for my head (medium size) but it stayed on my head even on strong windy days. If it stretches, it won't fit. Not for the summer. I wore it in 60F and it was too warm. When the temperature dropped to 42F everything was perfect. I have a feeling this can be an issue if you need to wear it indoors. I also hand washed it before putting it on, as gently as possible, but the threads were still starting to come out. I also found it a bit difficult to get dressed. I would buy a different color hat again because it looks so good, but I feel like I have to be careful with that.
