Lightweight yet comfortable

This blanket was delivered to me, as stated in the description, about a month after I ordered it. When I opened it it had a bit of an odd smell, like many blankets, so I tossed it in a regular wash load and dried it on low heat for about an hour. As soon as it came out the smell was gone and the comforter was still in perfect condition. It seems to have an almost velvety texture when I first opened it up, but it's soft to the touch and it's light but large. I wasn't disappointed. Very cozy for rainy autumn days and my cat loves it too
