Reviews that the containers are small (quarter size) and 1/3 full are correct. But a little goes a long way. I put a piece of paper underneath to catch the excess powder that I used later. I used an eyeshadow brush to apply the powder, which saved me from wasting as much. The black primer/base comes in a jar and comes with a brush for application. It's sticky and messy and I chose not to use it and instead used a black base polish in a regular bottle which I later ordered. I followed the instructions on Amazon (on the product images) to mix a non-wipe top coat (not included but important because if it is NOT wiped off it won't dry) with powder. (I applied some powder to the underside of the fake nail with a cotton swab and dipped the top coat onto the nail with a nail polish brush. I took the brush that came with it and blended it and then applied it to the nail. DO NOT APPLY/DRY Use a magnet, to achieve the cat eye effect instructions are not clear
