This is 100% Organic Marula Oil from the seeds of the Marula tree (Sclerocarya Birrea, pictured below with a photo of the seed itself) in South Africa - this is an identical ingredient found in more expensive products that are six times more expensive than this product. To be fair, more expensive products have thicker oils and a more luxurious feel, but they cost a lot more. Acure states that this product is non-comedogenic, non-abusive and vegan. I can tell you that it absorbs quickly and has no noticeable odor - it moisturizes without clogging pores. Directions for use: • Use immediately after showering or washing face for full absorption. • Do not use more than necessary. Apply the oil to the areas you want to cover, then rub gently to connect the dots. • Keep away from heat and sunlight to protect the oil components. I wish they would have packaged this in a dark bottle! Dry, Chapped Skin: • Nourishes and hydrates skin to reduce redness. • Helps maintain the skin's natural acid mantle. The skin produces less sebum, which can help prevent breakouts.
